Baked potatoes so easy that they can be prepared by people with any level of experience kitchen.For the moment, we are going to reserve them (in fact, this step is optional, because many people prefer to leave the complete bundles, I have done that too, at least when I'm in a hurry).
  • The next thing will be to decide if the potatoes will be consumed with or without the skin. If you prefer the first case, you have to wash them well. If you are one of those who leave them without skin, then it is time to peel them.
  • Now let's cut the potatoes in half, lengthwise.
  • Then there's what to look for a refractory glass or ceramic resistant to the oven, or alternatively, a flexible mold for baking, or a tray.
  • In it we will arrange the pieces of potatoes, taking care that they do not overlap.
  • Next we will cover the pieces with vegetable oil threads. It is only necessary that it is olive oil if you are a fan of this flavor, and if it represents a difference in the recipe (in my case, yes, I love potatoes with olive oil).
  • Sprinkle the salt and pepper on the pieces of potatoes. Do the same with the paprika, if you decided to use it.
  • Then sprinkle the herbs they are dry or chopped, in the most uniform way you can.
  • Finally, distribute the leaves on the potatoes, more or less uniformly. Drop a thread of oil on the fresh leaves, so they do not dehydrate so quickly and release more aroma. If not, you will only get dried leaves in the oven.
  • Enter the container with the preheated baked potatoes. Let's bake them for 45 minutes.
  • Calculate half the cooking time, for open the oven and turn the potatoes with a kitchen spoon. If you prefer, you can do this step twice (calculating the time divided into three), to make sure that the potatoes are cooked evenly, especially if they are not all the same size.

  • You can also prepare this recipe with a mixture of herbs mojo. In that case, chop the fresh herbs into small pieces and combine them in a cup with the oil and the dried herbs. Smear the potatoes with this preparation (without saving the oil, so they do not dry up), and ready, baked.

    Potatoes baked with Indian spices
